This dataset contains outputs of wildfire simulations in Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) in forest environments. It includes three simulations, each representing different simulation parameters. The forest plot used for the simulations consists of a 40 x 40 m Pinus ponderosa plot scanned with a Riegl-VZ400i in Sycan Marsh, Oregon, USA, during the summer of 2019. The inputs of the simulations are available at Cabo et al., 2025 https://doi.org/10.5285/467a735f-b03c-4c30-8781-82f0e11aec28 . These simulations serve as an example on how ground-based LiDAR data can be used to run 3D-spatially explicit wildfire simulations. The dataset includes CSV files containing the numeric results of the simulations; OUT, TXT, and INI files containing the specifications of the simulation (software version, date, number of threads, simulation domain, units, etc.); and FDS-specific output files which contain data related to the simulation paramaters : .PRT5 (Part 5 / Particle Files), .S3D(3D Smoke Files), .SF (Slice Files), .BND (Boundary Files), .GBND (Gas/Global Boundary Files), .Q (Plot3D Files), .smv (Smokeview Files), and .SZ (Smokeview Sizing Files).
