Environmental DNA decay rate data from a meta-analysis of papers published between 2012 and 2020

Data on environmental decay rates of aquatic eDNA (environmental DNA) were extracted from papers used in a systematic review and meta-analysis. The water type, equipment used, DNA type, temperature, and fragment length were extracted and compiled into a csv file.
