Digital High Resolution/Local Airborne Surveys of UK

Data from High Resolution/Local Aeomagnetic (+/- other Geophysical methods) Surveys has been digitised or reprocessed to give full georeferenced digital records from paper maps, raw data tapes etc. 1998 HiRes1 survey has been manually de-cultured and reprocessed from original data. Many Surveys flown for BGS projects (eg DTI funded Mineral Reconnaissance Programme). Other surveys flown by commercial companies and subsequently deposited with BGS. Many of the surveys were flown by helicopter.
