British Geological Survey (BGS) Sampling Survey 1980/4: Regional Mapping Programme: North Sea and west of Shetland (01/May/1980 to 24/Oct/1980

This British Geological Survey (BGS) regional marine sampling survey (comprised of five legs) took place from May to August 1980 in North Sea and west of Shetland on board the MV Whitethorn. Seabed samples and cores were collected using Shipek grab, Gravity corer, Vibrocorer and Midi drill.
