British Geological Survey (BGS) Sampling Survey 1978/9: Regional Mapping Programme: North Sea (06/Sep/1978 to 21/Sep/1978)

This British Geological Survey (BGS) marine regional sampling survey took placein September 1978 in the Northern North Sea on board the MV Cape Shore. Seabed samples and cores were collected using unmanned submersible Consub, Shipek grab, Gravity corer and 1m Rockdrill. These data are archived by BGS. Technical details of the survey are contained in BGS Internal Report 78/16.
